Frequently Asked Questions (2 day Hosting for Impact Training, March 2025)

Q: I have access needs, will this training be accessible for me?

A: We work hard to make everything we do as accessible and inclusive as possible. We are constantly learning and aim to meet the unique needs of individual participants as fully as possible. Please get in touch with us to discuss what you need to enable you to participate fully in this training.

Q: Will I have to do role play or present in front of lots of people?

A: No. You don’t have to do anything you don’t feel comfortable with. We don’t use role play as a method in our trainings. We do offer participants the opportunity to step into a hosting role on day 2 so you can put into practice some of your learning in a safe environment.  We offer a coaching session at the end of day 1 to help prepare participants who choose to step in to hosting a session on day 2. It is your choice whether you want to do this. One of our principles is that you get out what you are prepared to put in, even when it feels uncomfortable.

Q: I am unemployed / on a very limited income. Do you offer free places?

A: We offer a range of prices (see booking form). In exceptional circumstances we may be able to offer a bursary place. Please let us know when you complete a booking form and we will be in touch.

Q: I can’t travel to the venue. Is there an option to join the training online?

A: This training is only in-person. We will be offering an online training in the future. Please email hello@allaboutpeople.org.uk to join our mailing list to keep in touch and we’ll let you know dates for the online training as soon as we have them confirmed.

Q: Can I get CPD points for this training?

A: We are not (yet) CPD registered so we cannot award CPD points. We can offer a certificate of attendance / participation if that would have value for you.

Q: I don’t have the time to take two days out of work / life. Can I just join one of the days?

A: No. We ask participants to commit to being fully present for the whole two days as the learning builds as does the resonant learning between participants. We will be offering a one-day introductory training in the future. Please email hello@allaboutpeople.org.uk to join our mailing list and learn about future opportunities.

Q: Can I cancel my place once I’ve booked? What if I am unwell or have an emergency?

A: We are not able to offer refunds as there is a substantial financial outlay to put on a training. You could pass your place to a colleague or friend. If you choose to do that please let us know and make sure we have the details of who will be joining us.

Q: Can I pay in installments?

A: Please contact us and we can explore with you what might be possible.

If we haven’t answered your question here please drop us an email hello@allaboutpeople.org.uk and we will respond as soon as possible.
