A natural organiser and sense-maker, with a practical goal-oriented mindset, Sarah brings breadth and depth of experience from a career in the NHS and voluntary sectors, both locally and nationally. As well as over a decade as a public participation specialist at NHS England, she has also led on patient voice, consultation and coproduction for the NHS locally, at times alongside responsibilities for complaints, and for equality and diversity. Her charity experience includes stints at Age UK, Samaritans and NHS Charities Together. Alongside facilitation, communication and hosting skills, she brings her attention to detail and context, and ability to ‘see a way through’ and find common ground in the face of complexity and shifting sands. She is a nuanced, sensitive and compelling narrative writer.
Sarah enjoys hill walking and reading, with particular interests in history, poetry and the natural world.
